Bringing Gatherers, old and young, together since 2011, our remarkable micro festival has swiftly become one of Somerset's favourites, with a lineup that South West musicians aspire to be on.
It’s fair to say The Godney Gathering has grown from the one-day, single stage event that we used to be. We're a family-run festival that started in the small village of Godney (between Wells and Glastonbury) back in 2011. By 2014, we'd outgrown our original field and moved just outside of Godney, to Garslade Farm, where we became the two-day festival we are today.

The journey so far has been nothing short of extraordinary. We've had unforgettable performances by renowned artists such as The Lightning Seeds, Reverend and the Makers, The Pigeon Detectives, UB40, Feeder, The Darkness, Scouting For Girls, Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Zutons, Judge Jules, The Lottery Winners, The K’s, and even Somerset royalty - The Wurzels!
But here's the real magic
We've never been about just the headliners. Staying true to our humble beginnings, local music will always have a place at The Godney Gathering. Our Homegrown Stage champions exactly that - the local talent that’s right on our doorstep, and making our lineup one that South West musicians aspire to be on.
